We have the ability to repair, modify and recondition structural components, machinery parts and heavy weldments at customer locations, saving unnecessary disassembly, transportation and downtime by combining together our three welding, fabrication and machining trades. We can perform maintenance work or repair portions damaged by collision, fatigue, abuse, overload, corrosion, lack of maintenance and poor, insufficient or obsolete design.

We have seen cases where this option is extremely cost effective to clients who have experienced catastrophic failures to key items and replacement is impossible due to lack of new part availability, unreasonably long lead times, excessive replacement cost or both. Often our reconditioned parts are of improved design and last the life of the machinery they are used on.

We have straightened and line bored successfully many badly bent plate sections at pin joints on earthmoving and forestry equipment including main frames, articulation joints, loader arms and large excavator booms. Bending occurs when a pin breaks or works half way out during a loading cycle. Forklift axle components sometimes distort after years of load cycling and need realignment. Damaged parts can be successfully straightened both heated and cold with specialized tooling. Welding the insides of pin bores and line boring to original pin size restores pin bore alignment.
